The Jets upset the New England Patriots
Jets Beat Patriots, 28-21, to Reach A.F.C. Title Game
The Jets upset the New England Patriots on their home turf on
Sunday with a 28-21 victory that set up a matchup with the
Pittsburgh Steelers in the A.F.C. championship game.
A sad day today for this fan.

On any given Sunday………………….
It hurt bad to watch it. The Jet’s played us well.
I’m a Jet fan. Even I was stunned beyond belief that the Jets pulled it off. I think the key factor in this game was the fact that New England’s offensive line took the Jet’s defense for granted. After manhandling the Jets in the last game, it’s not surprising, but I think it cost New England the game. And Ryan deserves credit for sticking with his game plan. I look forward to being disappointed next week in Pittsburgh.
The Jets earned the win, well played!
The proper response is to cheer wildly for the Steelers.
(Both the Jets and Steelers have been inconsistent so it is tough to handicap this game.)
Congratulations Jet fan Nanute.
I grew up in NY metro. Watched Super Bowl III in my frat house, in NY.
My kids are all raised in Boston metro. So, I watched both teams all season.
Both over achieved all season, I thought the first Jet-Pat game was more true to each, the second, who knows any given Sunday one team shows the other does not.
The Jets were head banging defense. They got up after the first quarter.
My turning point yesterday was the fake punt in 1st quarter which went bad. It showed “disrespect” for the Jet defense which they took up on and played their heads off.
I am a fan of the comeback and LT is the guy this week. As well as Santonio Holmes who played up to his potential and #17 too.
5 sacks on Brady and a pick!
Sanchez a QB with a seaon 75 rating and a winning closer is odd these days.
Brady is one of the greats but you don’t pick apart a good defense too early or they get their game up.
The question in the AFC championship game is who shows up to play.
Are you sure of that Rusty? The enemy of my enemy? Or should we all jump on the Jets bandwagon? (Personally I’m with you, and hope the Steelers crush them)
I cheer wildly for the Steelers every single week, and they are the favorites in our house (even if that dumbass Ben forgot everything his parents taught him).
Steelers are a different team when they dont have Polamalu or Roethlisberger. When both play they are almost unbeatable, when just one plays they are one dimensional when neither plays they are ordinary
The Stillers are a fraud team. The Jets will pull out victory in the AFC Chaimpionship. The Jets have playmakers, things happen. Stillers when on penalities, and just crap. Ravens should have one that game. In football you do have to catch the ball. The Stillers, just have Big Ben good not good enough. Lokk for Hines Ward to be crying all game. LT and the “Green Machine” will have big days.
