Bev – Please jut look at your words the past few weeks. Falsehood after falsehood after falsehood. You been making stuff up because you think it makes you look smart. Actually I think you are part of the problem.
I take it that you don’t read The Onion, Krasting. Don’t start to. There’s falsehood after falsehood after falsehood in it. They’ve been making stuff up because they think it makes them look smart.
You’d definitely think they are part of the problem.
The article was published this morning on Politico, but I assume there will be articles on it elsewhere after the holiday weekend, and a lot of discussion about it on social media.
Actually, I didn’t just SAY it here at AB. I tried to shout, repeatedly, here that Clinton needed to inform the public about the purchased steering of Trump’s policy agenda by the Mercers, and, not incidentally, the control by the Heritage Foundation (which the Mercers help fund) of Trump’s entire policy agenda.
I kept hoping against hope that someone in Clinton’s campaign would read my posts about this and manage to convince her to do that, even if it required hypnosis. Who knows whether or not people at her campaign tried. I’m betting they did–I was’t the only one urging this–but weren’t able to hypnotize her.
NOTE: This is my farewell as a blogger on AB. I’ve blogged here for six and a half years, and most of the time have enjoyed it. It’s been draining and certainly time-consuming, but well worth it to me. I’ve blogged here for six and a half years, and most of the time have enjoyed it. (Someone suggested to me that I start blogging at Medium, but I believe it’s an invite-only site, and, well, I haven’t been invited.)
Anyway … bye, all. Thanks, Dan. And best to (almost) everyone.
Bev – Not only are you a fool, you are rude. I’ve been reading the Onion for nearly 20 years. It is you who does not know what this Mag. is about. You once again make up a lie that I stumbled into this because of you and Wikipedia. Shame on you.
As for satire, well I’ve tried. This bit from a few years ago got about 400,000 reads. Read/skip to the end. I mention the Onion.
Good riddins to those who cannot and will not see the light of wisdom in what others are saying, doing and believe. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass…We must remember that opinions are like noses where everybody has one…Today over at JudicialWatch.org there is a petition circulating to turn over the corrupt Clinton Foundation. You know what. I felt real good when I signed it…Go check it out.
Is there an accompanying petition circulating to turn over the corrupt Trump Foundation?
How about one to turn over the fact that Michael Flynn was given ultra-secret intelligence information a few days after the election although he’s on the consulting payroll of a number of foreign governments and was not long ago on the payroll of an Iranian group that was on this country’s terrorist list, until Flynn lobbied successfully–and controversially–to have it removed from that list? And that Flynn was given this intelligence information courtesy of Donald Trump, when at Trump’s behest he accompanied Trump to the briefing?
And what about a petition to require Trump to sell his business holdings and put his assets into an actual blind trust–at least the business holdings in other countries? At the very least, to sell his hotels in Saudi Arabia.
And the petition to investigate what transpired between the chief of state (or whoever) of India last week regarding Trump’s large holdings in that country. Is there such a petition?
Look, jackass: Do you not recognize that Trump’s announcement today that he does not want the Clinton emails and the Clinton Foundation investigated was precisely because if what Clinton did violates federal law, the so does what he’s done in the last couple of weeks, and what he plans to do throughout his presidency–if it occurs.
The electors are under no constitutional obligation to vote for Trump, and he movement for them to refuse to do so is gaining steam as Clinton’s popular-vote margin of victory surpasses two million, as it is likely to do.

Bev – Once again you have proven yourself to be a fool.
The Onion has always been about satire and comedy. There has never been anyone (save you) who does not understand this.
You write lies in the hope that someone will believe you. The Onion prints false stories to make people laugh.
You really should think a minute two before you push the button. Re-read the foolish crap you pen. Save yourself the embarrassment.
Yup. You don’t read The Onion; you just checked it out on Wikipedia and learned that it’s about satire.
Which you couldn’t detect if your life depended on it.
THIS could get VERY interesting: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/democrats-electoral-college-faithless-trump-231731
I sure as hell hope so.

This too, also published this morning on Politico, is … well … interesting:

And, along those lines, this: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/rebekah-mercer-donald-trump-231693
Which verifies what I’d been saying here at AB since I read THIS last August in the NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/19/us/politics/robert-mercer-donald-trump-donor.html?_r=0

“the movement,” not “he movement”, in the last sentence.
Bev, if we want change we need desperately to change our party’s leadership and direction.
