Word Usage for Which the Usage is Being Discouraged by the Gov.
I acquired this listing of not-to-be used words from Digsby’s Hullabaloo. This looks like a laughable moment that our government would spend time doing this. Or is it? Trump seeking to purge the federal government of “woke” initiatives, and agencies flagging hundreds of words to limit or avoid. This is according to a compilation of government documents.
I do not have a subscription to the NYT. The list comes from Hullabaloo as I stated above. Angry Bear does promote Hullabaloo on the site.

I can understand they want to erase all references to straight, non-white people and women. Who needs ’em. But I can’t believe they eliminated the word victim. How will they describe themselves without it?
AB: Does this begin to look like things are getting to be a bit strange? Trump has worsened in the category of being strange since his last tour of duty as the US President. Paranoia striking deep here in the White House.
Trump is a snowflake. He feels threatened all the time, and gathers to himself all the other snowflakes who share his sense of grievance at progress. It’s pathetic.
it got pretty crazy at the NIH & CDC during the data blackout….researchers were forced to pull their papers before publication if they happened to include a word like “gender”
