Media still will not cover Trump after years of his lies

“Media still not ready to cover Trump after years of his lies.”
It appears; Donald Trump called on the government to “come down hard” on MSNBC and not one major broadcast news network covered it. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell explains why this is a product of what Brian Klaas calls the “banality of crazy.”
It does make you wonder if negative reporting will still promote trump’s candidacy as many supporters do not care if he lies or act outside of the law. He defies a court order to report any monetary transactions before taking the funds.
Is it important to report the truth of illegal actions even if it is not believed or ignored? He really does need to be jailed. Jailed with others off the street and denied bail for a few days. He can face reality then.
“Media still will not cover Trump after years…”
This strikes me as ridiculous and completely incorrect. Trump is continually covered in the NYTimes and Washington Post, which are delivered each day, and I am sure in the WSJournal and Boston Globe and LATimes, just from noticing Internet headlines, among other major papers.
That’s the problem, to my observation: the media won’t stop giving him free air, free campaign time, free coverage. Too much coverage …
@Ten,
Exactly. Trump’s MO has been to control the media cycle, and the MSM abets him. Add to that the bothsidesism of Trump coverage, and you have Trump’s prescription for winning.
Your Mainstream Multi-Millionaire Media is in the bag …
There is a tendency these days for Big Media to be hedging their bets on concern for the devastating possibility of Trump regaining the throne.
I see that USA Today, flagship of the Gannett chain, is doing that. The NY Times also is being ‘fair & balanced’ about expressing concerns on ‘lack of support’ for Biden.
This is under the guise of expressing concerns about Joe Biden’ age, but not Trump’s who is only a few years younger.
Biden presidency is a dumpster fire. How many warning signs do you need?
‘Can Trump Win in 2024?’
USA Today – Nov 26
It may be that Nikki Halley has little chance at the GOP presidential nom because GOP voters don’t think she has much of a chance to win the presidency next November against Biden.
Perhaps she needs to work on that, figure out how to show that she can win the presidency if nominated. Get GOP voters to believe in her chances.
