After U.S.-Iran War, Oman Proposes Hormuz Fee Plan
Hmmm . . .
Before the US conflict with Iran, Iran and Oman did not charge fees for passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This, according to the New York Times. And now?
“Iran and U.S.-allied Oman are moving forward with plans to collect payment for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, despite public American objections, according to an Iranian official and four diplomats with knowledge of the matter.
If enacted, the plans would be a significant change from the prewar status in the strategic waterway, underscoring how the American-Israeli decision to attack Iran on Feb. 28 has changed the Middle East in far-reaching and unanticipated ways.”
Now Tr__p has his eyes on collecting a fee for passage through the Strait of Hormuz. He believes 20% is fair pricing for passage. The Strait of Hormuz is an international shipping route between Iran and Oman. In the past, vessels sailed through for free. Those vessels were carrying oil and gas from the Persian Gulf to the rest of the world.
However, “As recently as last week, Mr. Trump called the idea of collecting tolls or fees for passage through the strait ‘unacceptable.’” No surprise on Tr__p’s back and forth comminications,
Now its ok as long as he does it. The attack was based upon Iran having reached 60% on Uranium processing. Apparently, Iran had reached 60% in refinement. This makes it easier to develop a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks. To bring to a better under-standing, the following is a:
“Statement by Mr. Jerome Bonnafont Permanent Resident of France to the United Nations.”
“Iran is responsible for the current situation” to the Security Council (United Nations).
If you click on the link, you can read the complete statement about Iran and its efforts to build nuclear weapons.

Last I checked (hour or so ago) most of the US Navy is bottle-necked up a box-canyon, and though Oman is certainly in a position, physically and legitimately, to make proposals ((( We Are Not )))
