The Kimmel firing was strictly business
Look, I haven’t watched TV in over 20 years. I’ve never seen a Superbowl game in my life, and the only time I’ve seen Jimmy Kimmel is clips on Youtube. So I can’t boycott Disney because I wasn’t patronizing them in the first place.
Anyway, Bob Iger cares about stockholders first, last and always.
“If you want to be angry at somebody, be angry at Disney, don’t be angry at Trump, don’t be angry at ABC, point the finger where it needs to go, this is Bob Iger trying to get the NFL media deal done and get this asset bought.”

Agreed. Trump demanded the bribe but Disney agreed to it–a pox on both their houses.
Most people look at the portrait on a Dollar bill and see a pattern of lines and dots that form an image of George Washington. But someone could also just say there are just a bunch of dots. I’d probably think there was something wrong with that person who couldn’t see the pattern. It’s pretty clear and not at all controversial what picture is depicted in the case of the Dollar bill.
It’s gotten to be that way for me with Trump. The thing with Jimmy Kimmel is just one more dot in an already clear pattern of misuse of power by Trump and his executive branch. I think that pattern would be clear to everyone. It’s a picture MAGA fans love and they see it. It is a picture the left hates and we see it. But then you get people who won’t see it for whatever reason. They want to argue about this dot shouldn’t be in the picture, or that dot really belongs over there, or it’s just a bunch of dots and we really need to analyze each dot until God knows when before we can put it anywhere let alone in this picture.
If you can’t see the picture at this point, I don’t know what to say.
@Jerry,
D’accord.
