US Global Popularity Declines Along with Trump’s
Along with the return of trump, the United States popularity is in decline. U.S. President Donald Trump receives mostly negative ratings in a new Pew Research Center survey of 24 nations.
More than half in 19 of these countries say they lack confidence in Trump’s leadership in world affairs-Pew. I would suggest not traveling globally due to trump’s ambiguous behavior and personal characteristics. He has stirred up many in other nations. Most describe him as arrogant and dangerous, while relatively few see him as honest.
You may end up paying for his bad and boorish behavior.

The 2025 Democracy Perception Index summarizes attitudes toward democracy, geopolitics and global power players, and canvassed more than 110,000 respondents across 100 countries. Accordingly, the United States global popularity is declining in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s return to the White House, according to new data.
A survey revealed a majority of people have a negative perception of the U.S. The survey marks a steep decline from last year. In European Union countries, America’s reputation took a steep decline from early 2024. One could only wonder why? Perhaps, U.S. President Donald Trump calling the bloc “horrible, pathetic and “formed to screw the United States” is part of the reason?
Who would have thought this is why the European Union came into being in 1993? And well before Trump even thought of becoming the “pres?” I guess the next question is, “just how popular is China?”
China has been improving its global standing. China has surpassed the U.S. for the first time. It is the recipient of mostly positive perceptions in all regions except Europe and Russia. The latter of which is experiencing a tanking reputation in the wake of President Vladimir Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. While Russia is still more unpopular than the U.S. its image is also improving.
Trump’s reputation is in line with that of his country the US. The survey all showed he is less popular worldwide than his Russian and Chinese counterparts, Putin and Xi Jinping. Trump recorded the worst score among a range of political, cultural and spiritual leaders
