Perhaps It is Time for a Political Leadership change???
I am reading the most recent The Guardian article about a new Canadian Prime Minister.
The present Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, resigned as head of the Liberal party. His resignation set in motion a leadership race against the backdrop of a looming general election. An election which will be held amid political turmoil perhaps triggered by Donald Trump’s “America first” economic nationalism. That assumption of Trump triggering an election in Canada is doubtful. Canadians are just not that influenced by American politics. If anything, they are aloof of US politics or they were whenever I was there.
It has given Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, an opportunity to inject himself into another country’s political turmoil. And of course, he is stomping all over Canada promoting his favorite candidate to replace Justin Trudeau. That being Pierre Poilievre, the leader of Canada’s Conservative party. If it does come to pass Pierre replaces Justin, he will claim he was the chooser or Canada’s new leader.
Honestly, I do not see this happening. Yes of course, Musk will make his desires known. I still believe, Canadians as a whole do not like US influence, mandatory influence on their country and wo will lead it. Indeed, such influence could be detrimental to Mr. Pierre Poilievre’s candidacy.
We shall see.

Personally I would prefer to have a Canadian prime minister who did not welcome former Nazis to address parliament and lead two standing ovations.

Following that disgraceful performance in parliament, Trudeau went on to give a harangue at Fort York with a Nazi banner hanging in the background to his left.

“The mission of The Postil Magazine is to work for the return of Christendom (the Sacrum imperium), and then to nurture its inevitable outgrowth—high culture, which is the pointing of the soul to Beauty, the first mystery of God.”
LOL! And I should care about what The Postil Magazine says . . . why? Personally, I have no use for “the Sacrum imperium.”
