Best wishes for our East Coast readers
It is always easier to empathize with readers regarding an event if one is in the middle of the turmoil and emotions, and also in the path of a big, big storm. I did not post a similar best wishes for our mid-west readers concerning the impact of the drought. Of course, I believe this particular storm is somewhat unique.
I patched my roof today, but have a busted gutter I have been waiting for contractors to fix. Pump is ready for the basement. Luckily, I am on high ground. A least I might not have to go to work. 🙂

very odd; they just banned truck traffic from the ohio turnpike because of the wind…cant say i recall that happenning before…

looking at national radar and radar from environment canada, it appears the precipitation circulation around this storm extends from hudson bay to south carolina and from novascotia to wisconsin..
