Following the New York federal court finding that NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy routinely violates the Fourth Amendment privacy rights of hundreds of thousands — the mayor and his lackeys went ballistic, comparing New York’s relatively low homicide stats to Chicago’s horrible numbers — claiming stop-and-frisk is the difference (which would not matter because it is illegal anyway — why not just go around kicking down doors without warrants if results are all that matter).
Last year (2112) NYC homicides dipped 20% — last year NYPD stops dropped 22%. Listening Chicago?
