Finally, John Kerry asked in-depth regarding Iran
Since the start of the war with Iran, I have been wondering why we had not seen an interview with John Kerry about this. I would have thought he would have been someone to talk to from the beginning. After all, he is most credited with the agreement we had with Iran before Trump did his Trump dance.
I heard this interview Thursday 4/09/2026. It’s almost an hour long discussion which allowed a much broader discussion. They even get into his work on renewable energy and how it intersects with the world’s current situation. Kerry starts with an in-depth presentation of just what the agreement he negotiated had accomplished including how many nations were involved. It was a world agreement.
Yes, Jen Paski talked to Secretary Kerry that night, but it was only 11 minutes, and We the People need more about what is happening than an 11 minute talking point discussion.
Lastly, there is an observation that everything Trump touches, get involved with turns to crap. Unfortunately, even with this Iran “excursion” which is affecting the entire world, it’s not enough for such understanding of Trump to be as accepted as boiling water will burn you. Truckers and farmers are shutting down Ireland over fuel.
I hope many people share this discussion. The nation needs to hear it in order to understand what has happened.

In the first six minutes of the YouTube, John Kerry lays the issue out. The US We did not need to do this. There was little or no threat to us, Israel, globally coming from Iran. Instead, I suspect Netanyahu (?) needed a diversion to take the attention off of him.
From what Kerry is saying, there was no threat forthcoming from Iran. This was a much needed distraction by Netanyahu. No other country felt there was a need to attack Iran. And Trump fell for it.
So now, we have a homemade conflict with Iran and a global economic crisis due to oil coming out of the Middle East having to pass through the Straits. Trump was the fuse to be lit by Netanyahu.
When speaking about the Iranian population, Netanyahu said: “You can lead someone to water; you cannot make him drink.” He was peaking in his first press conference since Israel and the US attacked Iran on February 28, sparking a widening regional conflict. So both he and Pres. Bone Spurs created a war when none was needed to deal with Iran.
So, prices economy has taken a hit globally and in the US. Nobody in the US likes to spend $4 to $5/gallon for gasoline to power their oversized pickup trucks that may carry one person in them most of the time. As soon as it started and no shortages apparent, gasoline prices went up. Isn’t that called rent – taking?
And TRump is in his glory having started a conflict with a lesser country. And the world thinks the United States sucks. And we do, since we put this idiot in office. A special thanks to the three million that did not vote in 2024 and a special call out for those who voted for others knowing full well electing whoever was not going to happen.

Israel is not the virtuous victim they play and we here in the US need to get real about it. They are doing to the Palestinians in the West Bank as we did to our native Americans with our “settling the west”.
We have been used by Yahoo for his authoritarian play simply because we elected an egocentric authoritarian.
It’s not just fuel from oil that is going to hurt us and the world. This is a big boost to China’s play for dominance in the renewable sector.
The Strait is now a protection money machine/racket and Trump thinks he’s going to get in on it.
As you know, I was writing about trust and how that was where our wealth and power came from years ago. Destroying that trust is what has happened thus we have destroyed our wealth and our ability to prosper.
I am confident that not enough US citizens really understand what is happening and what we will be living.
And then I think about my daughter and her family. I could cry.

I looked at the name and was thinking, “who do I know with the name of Daniel?” Then I saw the email addy.
A lot of political and financial interests backing Israel. They are also the third rail of politics and discussions. Say too much and you are accused of being anti-Israel and whatever else goes along with it. Trump thinks he knows and he loves the power plays and the part of being the big man in politics and finance. He is being used by Israel. We are being dragged along with his ignorance.
Trump’s word is worthless. He is a fraud and storyteller about his intellect and abilities.
There is no way we should take on Iran. By Trump’s actions, he has worsened the situation. We do not need to rebuild a country we bombed.
I have three myself. I would like to leave them a better world. Unfortunately, we put the wrong person in the Presidency.
