Don’t forget – No Kings Day is tomorrow
There is nothing more important that regular folks like us can do to protect our democratic institutions than to show Trump and his congressional lickspittles that we oppose what he is doing and we will not be intimidated.

It’s important to recognize the organizing organizations for the “No Kings” movement. It seems they are getting little publicity.
The “No Kings” protests are organized by a broad coalition of progressive and pro-democracy groups rather than a single entity. Key organizers include:
Indivisible: A grassroots movement founded in 2016 to resist the conservative agenda. Co-founder and Executive Director Ezra Levin has discussed the organization’s involvement in planning the rallies.
50501 Movement: A national, decentralized movement that created the “No Kings” theme to stand against what it views as authoritarian actions.
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU): A nonprofit organization focused on protecting the civil rights and liberties of individuals in the United States.
Service Employees International Union (SEIU): A labor union representing nearly two million members in various sectors.
American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE): A labor union that has urged its members to join the protests.
American Federation of Teachers (AFT): The union’s president, Randi Weingarten, has been a listed speaker at “No Kings” events.
Our Revolution: A progressive political action organization.
Vote Save America: A fundraising and volunteering arm of Crooked Media.
There is also an impressive list of Partners assisting in the protest nationwide.
The No Kings movement began by protesting the military parade in Washington, D.C., in June 2025, and has since continued to organize nationwide demonstrations.
While this protest will probably draw 10 to 20 million participants, it could be so much more impactful if there were a way for millions and millions of others to express their disgust with the current state of government affairs. 75 million people did not vote for Donald Trump & 90 million didn’t vote. There should be another, widely publicized, way to allow others who cannot attend the protest to express their concern (E.G., A dollar for Democracy Online): only $1 & only one per person.
My post did not go through. . .?
