Trump has threatened to withhold federal funds generated in part through NYC taxpayer dollars from New York City if they don’t elect Mario Cuomo as mayor. Zohran Mamdani claps back:

Even if he’s exaggerating by two or three fold, that’s still a great return on investment for California and a terrible business model for Trump. Of course, it’s our tax dollars that Trump is burning up on his futile attempts to bully blue cities and states. Remember this when you read the inevitable NYT and WaPo navel-gazing editorials about the federal deficit and national debt.

Citizens still see Tr_mp as the answer even though they will suffer because of him. In the last three elections, there were better candidates than Trump. Only one won against Trump. Which is fortunate for us that Biden won as it broke up Trump’s reign.
I do wish more Governors would push back.
