OK, Donald Trump is not literally dead, but his political future is about as dead as one could hope.  IF things do not go too terribly this week, then we have a lot to sing about, but better we don’t sing too loud yet. There is still Covid-19.  There are plenty of problems behind that.  I believe that the Biden administration will have the good sense to keep their hands of the wheel and their eyes upon the road.  If Donald Trump has accomplished anything positive, then it has been to show that there are worse things than establishment liberalism.  For me to accept that is quite an accomadation.

This is probably another of those copy and paste bugaboos.

      Ron:

Run the cursor over the title first like you are copying it. Click on the YouTube internet address. Use Link and insert Internet address. Hit the funny little symbol next to URL. Not rocket science.

Resolved: that in the case of a rouge president who tries to pardon supporters who engaged in violent assault on the government — or in the case of any form of mass pardon or other form of pardon that can unravel the social contract of democracy — the Supreme Court could — and I expect almost assuredly would — intervene to disallow the legality of said pardons.

Courts can intervene thus whenever there is a necessity to prevent irreparable — especially society wide — harm.
