I have a face for radio and a voice for mime. My Eldest Daughter, on the other hand, can project.

She proves it for about thirty seconds of this (badly-mixed, overorchestrated) NPR video (starting around 3:30).

    Hey Ken:

I am a nobody in the scheme of things, X-Marine Vietnam era Sergeant father of two sons and a daughter, and a business man. I am middle class right to the core.

She did a fine job of expressing her thoughts and feelings. Alost the late sixties when many of us would go to the coffee houses and listen to the music.

If she understands what is taking place, then she is miles ahead of many of her peers. I hope some more listen to this.

I find it amazing, Run, that the “Don’t Trust the Government” liberals of the 1960’s have evolved into the “Cradle-to-Grave” liberals of the twenty-first century.

      Don’t waste my time . . .

I wouldn’t dream of it. At your age, you don’t have any to spare! 😀

Awesome, Ken! But, not to worry. Trump said today: “In the coming days we will develop a system to help ensure that those admitted into our country fully embrace our values of … personal liberty and … reject any form of oppression and discrimination.”

So next time Trump leaves the country, he won’t be allowed back in.

Ummm, uh, Warren….About the 60’s, I suspect you are rather younger than us Boomer types. What, are you happy with the way things are going in the new administration? Take it from someone who was there in the 60’s and worked for the feds for 30+ years, if it’s this bad after less than a month, it’s going to get really hairy here directly. NancyO

I am, theoretically, a Boomer, though my parents were not of the WWII generation that spawned most Boomers. I, too, worked for the feds for a while. On Boomers, as a matter of fact. But, peace broke out, and the resulting budget cuts meant my services were no longer required.

    The govvies need a shake-up.

    Budget cuts, huh?

Can someone take a look at Angry Bear’s budget?

Maybe we can kill twoi birds with one stone.
