A couple of more months of this idiocy (maybe a couple of weeks) and America is going to find a way to say to Donald: “Your fired!”

    Dennis,

Lazy? You should wish he was lazy. If anything he has been hyperkinetic, laying waste to one liberal policy after another. And this is just the first week.

    Sammy,
Lazy, not in not endlessly running his mouth — lazy, as in never taken the trouble to learn anything at all about what he is belly aching about. Government by temper tantrum.

After a recent screening of Steve Martin’s “The Jerk”, I realized there is a scene in the movie that anybody who is holding a job paying a living wage and benefits can relate to.

Martin’s character Navin is working at a service station and a murderous lunatic decides to kill him with a high powered rifle after picking his name at random out of the phone book. When the first few shots miss and hit some quarts of oil in a display rack Navin screams “He hates these cans! Stay away from the cans!”

To be well treated in this job market is to be “near the cans”. You’re not secure, you’re a target. Picked at random except for the fact of your comfortable existence. And the snipers never sleep.
