    MY EMAIL TO BLOOMBERG/BUSINESSWEEK:

I am very suprised to discover that my new subscription to Businessweek is not delivered by US Mail but instead is thrown on the ground in a plastic wrapper in front of my apartment building entrance every Friday — without even a label addressed to me. Is this really supposed to be? ???

This is my second request for information. RSVP

    RESPONSE:
    Please accept our apologies.

Your issues are being hand delivered by a local delivery service to ensure more timely delivery.

We are able to return delivery to USPS upon request.

I inadvertently hit the “Post” button for the comment above — so allow me to continue to bellyache:

Imagine a giant business magazine delivered by throwing it in front of apartment house entries with all the free advertising junk? Don’t much like Bloomberg — with his 24X as many stop-and-frisks per reported crime (waited until after crime went down 4X to up street stops 6X) — and his opening a $400 million new courthouse in my old Bronx neighborhood after crime went down 4X (in 2005) and the city had already built a new $120 million courthouse (today’s dollars) in the late ’70s to absorb the then explosion of criminal cases; nothing wrong with the old courthouse (wood paneled walls, gilt finishings) the architectural anchor of the vicinity — and his opening a new $670 million dollar courthouse in Brooklyn, same year.

Just can’t miss a chance to say any unkind debunking word about about the man.
