It’s a Spending Problem, Right?

Steve Roth | March 17, 2012 8:17 pm

Well if so (something I’m not asserting), it’s a Republican spending problem:

Those that yell the loudest are often the most at fault.

But…Everyone knows/believes/hears…. Steve, perception is everything.

Long wars –cold as in Star Wars and hot as in the long wars in Iraq/Afghanistan, probably account for most of the difference. As we know, or should by now, what we spend on the DOD isn’t spending. So, Democrats by definition spend too much no matter how little they spend since they have spent less on wars in their last two times at bat. Best reason I can think of to vote Republican if you live in the Beltway. NancyO

Then I guess we can just wipe the DOD spending from the budget, which means we’re running and have been running a surplus now.
