The bill keeps morphing rapidly in to other bills.  Planned Parenthood was the object of video tricks a la Acorn style tricks.  At least the FBI became quickly involved.

http://blog.american.com/?p=26318 Biggs noticed Cohn’s articles on the constitutionality of the individual mandate. Biggs offers offers an argument for the constitutionality of SS being based on the power to tax whereas the ACA is based on the Commerce clause. He ends up disagreeing with Cohn, but others–one those being a former member of Reagan’s cabinet–disagree. Has to do with what “all necessary means” means. I think I know. 8-D  NancyO

Maxine on the Health Care Bill

    Let me get this straight:
We passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairperson says he does not understand it.
Passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it,
to be signed by a president that also hasn’t read it and who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that’s broke.
What the heck could possibly go wrong????

Actually that is funny….and so bi=partisan it is scary.

Scarier still are the rising costs of healthcare in the private sector under the present system.

Dan said: “Scarier still are the rising costs of healthcare in the private sector under the present system.”  And, short term cost increases have accelerated due to this bill, as was predicted by the loyal opposition.

The health care bill also requires that gold and silver sales over $600 be reported to the IRS. Why is this provision necessary for our nations health?

Why should we have expected good to come from the evil Emanuel brood? Daddy Benjamin Emanuel is a terrorist. Hollywood based Ari Emanuel sullies this nations culture. Rahm Emanuel introduced Monica Lewinsky to President Clinton, and then blackmailed Clinton. Should we have expected any better of brother Ezekiel when we let his grubby little pecker skinners near the health care bill.

Mark up another as the Obama presidency, lead by the naif-in-chief, careens from debacle to debacle.

In Egypt, after a week of dithering and mixed signals, Obama demands immediate transition of power from Mubarek, one of our strongest allies in the Middle East, just as Mubarek regains control.  Thus Obama shows himself to be both disloyal and ineffectual (a very bad combination in an ally).  Mubarek is now probably best described as “formerly one of America’s strongest allies in the Middle East.”

If only Mubarek was an sworn enemy of the United States developing a nuclear weapon, like Ahmadinejad, facing an uprising, could Obama be counted on just to STFU.

Since 1968 average income increased 100% while the AVERAGE PERSON’S (the MEDIAN WAGE earner’s) income advanced only 25% from $12.50/hr to $15.00/hr.

I liked your first comment better.  [i don’t like the health care bill or congress or the president much more than you do.]

But the rise in Health Care costs since the bill was passed are entirely due to the Insurance Companies gaming the system.  The Health Care Bill was written for them.  Without that mandate they will choke on their own excesses.  We are seeing “socialism for corporations”  being loudly shouted about  by the Right who actually approve, but know where the votes are.

It does not matter what you want. I do not engage in bovine scatology.

Benjamin Emanuel is a terrorist. He has never recanted. He never had as Bruce would say a v-8 moment. No where has he ever said it’s to bad we killed Count Bernadotte, or that it might have been a mistake to blow up the King David Hotel, or that we might have got a little carried away at Deir Yassin. He is still a Jewish supremacist terrorist who has niether learned or fogotten nothing.

Abram told Sara to decieve the Egyptions as to the exact nature of their relationship, and to use her beauty to suck up to the Pharoah. When G-d discovered that the Pharoah was a two timing bigamist, G-d punished Egypt for having a debased culture, where open Abram skedaddled with his ill gotten gains. This is Judaism 101.

Rahm knows this play book He is the one who introduced the modern day Judith to Clinton. His brother Ari is doing every thing possible to demonize southern white Christian hetro sexuals, while Ezekial is trying to create more reliance upon the state via health care.

Having taken on the self appointed task of a thought nazi, you further seperate yourself from your conservative tradition, and take up the yoke of a true trotskyite, which you have unwittingly become.

I agree.  But does the HC bill really have a clause regarding gold and silver sales?

That Rahm Emanuel sucked from British Petroleum’s tit is not in doubt. He lived rent free in an apartment owned by a BP executive while he was in congress. Rahm found the good’s on the mulatto from Mabaso from the days they were both members of the “Man’s country club” in Chicago, which is a gay bath house. Plug this info into the equation and it is easy to understand why the Kenyan rolled over on the settlement issue early in his administration, and allowed BP to run the clean up operations in the Gulf more recently. A job well done, and now it’s time to skedaddle off to a Mayorial job in the windy city

    Dan,
Not that I’d completely disregard some of the points made by HW&H, but some of his rhetoric is a bit over the top even for AB.  Even if there is some validity to a few of his remarks those remarks are discredited by the childishness of some of his other remarks.  The result being that none of what he(?) is saying has much credence.  A little editorial intervention seems in order. If there is no indisputable proof of the implication of the “men’s country club” remark it should certainly be expunged.  Believe me I have no love for Rahm Emanuel, but let’s not cast unwarranted and biased aspersions.
