But if it had to perish twice…
Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

“And I, I took the road less traveled
and that has all the difference made”
Robert Frost, The Road Less traveled
ilsm
subject to embarassing disclosures by MG i will bet that Frost said “that has made all the difference”
Frost would never “poetically invert” syntax.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
