The Video to See if You’re Seeing Only One

Just to clarify, the guy in the video is my Fort Worth, TEXAS, City Councilman.  You know the only metro area in Texas that did not vote for Obama in 2008.  Yea, we are all a bunch of red-necks here in flyover country…we hang them gay type.  Oh wait, reality, we really vote them into office as city councilmen and down in houston elect openly gay women as mayor.

BTW, watch the video. Its very powerful and this guy will get re-elected. He is actually a very good councilman. Gets the job done and keeps Ft Worth ahead of the game when it comes to expansion, roads, jobs, schools etc. And he’s a TCU fan.  And roots for the Rangers and the Cowboys! and I think he’s gay also….now if he rooted for the Yankee’s that would bring out the rope!

Islam will change

I went to Texas public schools. I got beat up a lot. I grew up in George W Bush’s zip code, which is one of the wealthest areas of Dallas.  Judge Barefoot Sanders a LBJ boot liker and Jimmy Carter appointee to the Federal court decided that a black kid could not learn math unless he was surrounded by white kids. Therefore he ordered black kids from the worst part of Dallas to be bussed to my school. Even surrounded by white kids blacks could still not learn math, but they sure could fight. Today in Texas more kids get beat up for being white, then they do for being gay.

In Orwells 1984 it was decided that all animals were equal, but some such as the pigs were more equal therefore they got all the apples. I look at this council men weeping like a woman, for the plight of gay kids getting bullied, and it makes me think of those pigs. The implication to this video is that it is some how worse if a kid gets bullied for being gay then for all the myriad of other reasons that kids get bullied. Seems if we follow this reasoning the we will make gays into a special class of people thus allowing them to hog a disporpotionate number of apples.

Huh?  I have no problem with gays in the military or out. While it might have been a problem back in the ’80s and before, its basically just gone away.  No one cares and sexual harrassment will get you booted from the military gay or straight. 

I do have problems with Islam’s brutal repression of women and gays in all Islamic countires.  Iran makes no bones about it’s policy of hanging people who are gay. that’s what Islam is all about – its institutionalized in Islamic countries. And don’t get me started by the effective slavery women live in under Islam.  The burka is a symbol of slavery worldwide. Islam is not compatible with western liberal democracy. Thus it will change.

As for bullying in general. Totally agree.  You’ll find stories like yours in every school in the nation. Integrated or not. The book you should have reference was “Lord of the Flies”.  (BTW it was Orwell’s ‘Animal farm’ that you meant not ‘1984’ – though both were warnings against leftist tyrranny).
