Guest post/note makes it to Foreign Policy magazine

Dan Crawford | October 1, 2010 3:45 am

Guest post/note makes it to Foreign Policy magazine as a fully written article Don’t bring a praseodymium knife to a gunfight on rare earth metals by Tim Worstall. Now Tim and I don’t agree on some economics, but Foreign Policy notices Angry Bear at least once? He owes me two beers when I am in Portugal. I would go read it as well.

Wonderful writing.  I don’t know enough to know whether he got the science or trade issues right, but the writing is really good.

    Tim,

I agree with K, it is a nice peice, very informative, well written, and I feel like I learned something.

    From the piece:

If rare earths are so precious, why isn’t the United States working harder to collect them?

Because the EnviroPsycos have got everybody but the short and curly’s all based on a anti-Capitalist political agenda and half truths about Global Climate Change.

Smack…kisses…on both cheeks….you also get free beer when you come to Portugal.

Lordy, people who boost my ego always get free beer……

Very nice. It’s useful to know about rare earths, and it’s wonderful to have an expert on Angry Bear.
