Template woes
My apologies for the inconvenience of changing the template. Even feed links were changed about in the transfer. Since the posts are intact, my first priority is fixing comments with js kit (and blogger comments for new).

The new template is up. Looks fine to me. Do I ever thank you for doing all this work?
Thanks
I definitely agree with Codger on this one, Dan.
Has the new template wiped out all the comments on old topics? I went to the topic of Glenn Beck’s viewers and all comments there had disappeared, or so it seemed.
I am not complaining. It might be well for this blog to start afresh in any case.
The comments are not gone…simply inaccessible at the moment.
The under the fold break is not gone…as the code changed to implement, the old code did not register. Bears must use the new break gadget on ‘compose’ to put in breaks for new posts (and if you want to re-instaste breaks in old posts). I do not know why since the html had been inserted in the post itself…it is simply not being read as an instruction.
Some years ago you posted a series on presidential economic performance. I can’t find the link you used to have on this series. Is it still available?

I forwarded your e-mail to cactus until this template stuff is fixed.
Well there is some weirdness afoot.
If I start from the Google Dashboard and link to comments on this post I get JS-Kit and only the first five. If I start from the front page and link I get Blogger and all seven (to date).
The system does recognize me as an author/moderator but does not seem to give me an avenue to edit an existing post or start a new one from the front page, meaning that I have to go to me own site, click on the Dashboard there at which point I am presented a list of blogs where I have privileges including AB. I never quite got why the Dashboard did not show up as a default. It is not a big deal, but since you have your head under the hood anyway maybe something to think about.
In any event it will be interesting to see the interaction of Blogger and JS-Kit comments.
Looks good to me. The bugs will work themselves out – just like the economy.
“…just like the economy.”
Uh-oh.
good posting, nice job! π
Slugs,
Tell noni the good part that for the analysis it does not even matter what you buy with that “G”. The government could pay millions to dress up in yellow chicken suits and walk around picking up grain, it could buy millions of barrels of snake oil, it could employ millions to move the Grand Canyon west 20 miles.
So what can one say about an analysis that does not say anything about how the money is spent and does not care.
one of the best things abbut the old template was the cool expand/contract feature so you didn’t have to click away. of course, you removed that feature.
feh!
maybe i should read all the comments before commenting?
I think this template is better then the previous one. Articles here are more visible and readable then that in the center.
Nice format rdan

Very white, like walking into a new house!
May I suggest some neutral colors on the walls and for the carpeting. Maybe one wall in a bolder color for contrast. π
It has been pointed out by economists who know something that the reason unemployment is so high is that there has not been enough stimulus to bring it down further. But the dunces keep saying stimulus has failed. And keep on saying it. On the other hand in Afghanistan, if the Taliban are not defeated they won’t say it is because we sent troops there, but that we didn’t send in enough. They are basically addlebrained and inconsistent in their thinking.
Your site looking fantastic and also memorable, it gives the idea about,My apologies for the inconvenience of changing the template. Even feed links were changed about in the transfer. free mp3 music
Rdan,
My blackberry loves you. I can’t describe the difference in what I see when I load the front page.
Is there a way to get the comments to open in a new tab/window/popup?
