Comment woes.
Js-kit has some comments embedded in the post, at the bottom of each post after clicking on the title of the post you want to read. There is a disconnect with the blue comment link at the top of the post (blogger comment format). Very inconvenient. Sorry.
Update: Blogger and js-kit are synchronized in ‘below the post comment form’. I believe all comments have been included. Yeah me. I can synchronize in pop up window as well, but it lacks any versatility.
Any preferences for a day or two?
The glitch is being worked on by Igor or an associate engineer of js-kit.
Can you keep the delete button on final posts? The review is great but I would still like to delete a final post if I find a mistake that I would like to correct.
Delete…if I can. Preview too.
I take it that the first three comments were not made using JS-Kit. Correct?
Yes….I will transfer once a day
Oh good grief….the comments update here from js kit, not the other way.
Js kit transfers messages to the bogger section, but not vice versa.
Rdan,
Does that mean that the blog is stuck with the Blogger comment thread format?
No….but Igor is in charge of the code people at js-kit…it could be my template…we are not stuck, for there is transfer.
I do know all blogger comments will transfer to jskit when I do so manually.
Rdan,
JS-Kit allows responses to other comments which is a nice feature. Admittedly, I’m not a fan of the blogger format. You can’t even expand the page.
Rdan,
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but once a main post drops off the active group and is only a headline in the list further down the page, the only comments that can be accessed are those posted via JS-Kit. Unless you have changed something, that’s the situation. I spotted that yesterday.
Rdan — I have no idea which aspects of the blog display you have control over, but it the two different comments links are where you can get to them, it might be nice to label which is which. Thanks again for all the work.
