This is a test. A liberal economic blog and conservative talk show host face off….listen to find out the result!

Clash of the talk show and blog!!!!!

And go to Presidential Performance to obtain some really fun election items for your next caucus or primary, or your next economic discussion with friends.

I think you can expand the fields to better use the whole page.

thanks..the rounded corners cause a problem with that. I will expand from 975 to 995px, shrink the sidebars and expand the middle, and fill in the little divots in the background at the corners.

However, I want to get the links up and functioning and rescue the comments. I have to do that manually, as switching from old to new meant manual changes.

    buff,
    Notice names first.

Do people like haloscan or blogger (currently using) comments format?

    Looks nice so far.

Did it really lose all of the comments made previously? It looks like it.

  • rdan says:
    February 9, 2008 at 2:22 pm

    jim,
Not lost, but misplaced. working on it.

    I like.

Agree with CoRev…sizable unused margins on both sides.

    Hey Dan,

Good job. What’s the best way to enter a link in the comments?

  • rdan says:
    February 9, 2008 at 3:55 pm

Same as always I think sammy.

Check the blog roll links. When I try to go to Kevin Drum’s Washington Monthly, it takes me to TPM. Now TPM does take me to TPM so at least that one is OK.

Our link to the economist blogs is actually a link to the top 200 economist blogs. But look at blog #185, which is Patrick R. Sullivan’s blog. How can a Don Luskin wannabe be considered an economist? Who put together this list?

  • CoRev says:

Dan with all the problems we all have had with Haloscan lately, if you want to experiment with Blogger comments it would make sense.

The trouble is trying to go back if you change your mind.

  • rdan says:
    February 9, 2008 at 5:38 pm

    washington monthly link corrected.

recommended economist blogs will be put up later when I restore comments…otherwise ask cactus about the list.

  • rdan says:

I am afraid I have walked into a snarl in retrieving old comments that is on neither blogger nor haloscan sites, but on plenty of other blogs. You are correct, they still do not talk to each other.

    Sheesh and double sheesh.

    No warnings on either??

  • rdan says:

I would rather have comments back and rebuild the widgets. What a waste of time.

Can’t read the RSS feed yet (to update rss feed in my sidebar), but will keep trying…
