Hi,

Big fan of most of your articles, of late, particularly the “meme watches” on the tax the poor meme. In any event, you haven’t yet added coverage of chapter 5 of the most recent Economic Report of the President. There, the CEA argues explicitly for replacing the income tax with a consumption tax–with a consumption tax, of course, there would be no more “lucky duckies” not paying taxes. Well, I suppose that if you were poor enough to not consume anything at all, you would still be a lucky duck. See angrybear.blogspot.com for more.
