I suspect that CTW could keep the show on the air, they make enough money on the stuffed toys and other do dads that they license. Perhaps some stations will have to have more common schedules and combine into a state wide public tv network. It would be the radio stations that would hurt, and of course the big concern is the NPR crew anyway.

Sure sure. Let CTV and Sesame Street be educated by the mighty pokemon!
About time those muppets learned to sell. If toy sales don’t cover it, a line of muppet gummies and fast food themed kids meals ought to put them back in the black.
And why stop there? You’ve got great brand loyalty, why NOT a Sesame Street themed student loan program? Now that we’re all about the charter high schools let the little urchins borrow enough to get through 12th grade. Market discipline!
Now that I’m thinking on it a little more what’s up with this bogus “brought to you by the letter X and the number 6 and 8” crap? Let em learn that real entertainment is brought by cereal, toy and candy companies as god and milton friedman intended!
I admire what you have done here.I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that this is working for you as well.
