The House bill also includes a whole new way of taxing multinational corporations — aside from the one-time tax — that lawmakers have hardly debated, and which experts are still trying to understand.
“It’s crazy,” said one Republican lobbyist. “I don’t think anyone could explain it, let alone comply with it” by Jan. 1.
Corporations don’t have to file until March 15, September 15 if you file an extension.
Wait, you mean they voted on a bill they barely debated and most had’t even read? Sounds like you’re talking about the Patriot Act, which passed 99-1 in the Senate as I recall, including the republic’s supposed savior Hillary Clinton. It’s almost like the fix is in from the beginning and the vote is just for show.
