I did not know Greta Thunberg had $billions and owned companies that our present VP alludes to in his statement. Greta has not been standing next to the German Chancellor the same as Musk does in the Oval Office and next to the President. This while his young son plays there and picks his nose. Neither does Greta make policy.
President Trump sits behind his desk while Musk talks. Great optics on what we can expect from Trump.
The comparison in Vance’s comment is rich . . .

If Vance and Trump do not want immigrants and lecture Germany on slamming their immigration door shut also, they should not be cutting off aid to these countries. Change the paradigm of shuttering the USAID.
If Ukraine’s Zelinsky believes anything Trump or Vance say, Ukraine will pay a terrible price.
Europeans remember how things were there in the first half of the twentieth century and are determined not to repeat that.
