Chris Christie proves himself to be a genius!

And since there’s no causal relationship whatsoever between income inequality and opportunity inequality, this is sure to be a winning political message in 2016.
Christie made the comment “at a ‘fiscal summit’ hosted by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, which was created to increase public awareness of the dangers of budget deficits and rising national debt,” according to an Associated Press report about it. Also, from the report:
Christie also said that if Republicans retake the Senate it could lead to a more productive Washington during President Barack Obama’s final two years in office. Obama could make progress on trade negotiating authority, for example.
Yes! That’s the ticket to equality of opportunity!
The article also reported that “he’ll announce a plan next week on what to do about New Jersey’s unexpected $800 million budget shortfall. Tax increases are off the table.” Presumably, the plan is being drafted by Peter Peterson himself.
Okay, so Christie will run for the presidency on a platform of fiscal austerity, a denial of a relationship between income inequality and opportunity inequality, and international drug-patent and movie-copyright protections. And on his mastery of government budgeting.
Go for it, Chris!
To separate opportunity inequity and income inequity and deny any interconnection shows a complete lack of understanding of the causes of both or…he is just a lying asshole!

Christie would create more opportunity for the gamblers to make big money like Mitt Romney and Jack Welch breaking up US businesses to become banksters in the rigged system.
What Christie will not address is a lack of opportunity for the most people to achive a decent lifestyle.
Trade negotiations influence this lack of opportunity.
US should:

Cut military spending shift the outlays to infrastructure, and force the “allies” who are spending a quarter the share of GDP to defend themselves.
Affect the trade negotiations to be considerate of the lack of opportunity created by one sided deals with currency manipulators.

He is talking to his donors here. The sentence about opportunity inequality is obviously nonsensical to him and his donors. What matters is that 90% of voters will not smell a rat. So the message is: “I can bullshit the 99% and divert attention from inequality, give me your money and I will work for you”. He is basically saying he is a second Reagan: a jovial simple chap who can work dilligently for the 0.01% while pretending that he cares about “America”.
