Nothing really new here, for some reason I ended up wandering back to this old post of mine, and — partially because the video at the end so kicks ass — can’t resist re-posting it over here for those who haven’t seen it.

Just a reminder for all those red-state debt-ceiling hawks out there.
Here’s where the debt came from:
How do you think state budgets would look if all those in-the-red red states had to pay back all the federal money they’ve gotten from the prosperous blue states?
Look at Mississippi. Oh, I mean Greece. Oh no, I mean Mississippi.

just an addendum to the map; i understand the data used in creating that is no longer available; it got axed in a budget cut…
our government is so poor it cant even keep track of where the money is going anymore…
