Despite their expansive coverage of economic issues, their articles are as deep as their coverage is extensive. Topics include world trade, industrial production, U.S. Government programs, and major regulatory issues.

Very impressive and they don’t even note a “left” leaning ideological perspective. I guess this blog site deals in objective analysis of factual material rather than mere ideology.

I would love to do so. You know Linda Beale invited us all to her home in Michigan. I explained to her some of us are on the West Coast, some of us are on the East Coast, and some of us are in the Midwest. One of these times I will saunter by to say hello.
We used to do this on Slate, a gathering of the “star writers” so to speak. Once in Manhattan (stayed in an expensive-ass cheap hotel in China Town), once in Philly, and another time in Chicago. Our preconceived thoughts of what each other looked like were dashed in the reality of our presence and appearance. One could recognize the person by how they spoke.
Congrats! This is a nearly daily pilgrimage for me.

Is there a regional derivation to that comment? I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and even we who were don’t say things like Kool Beans.
