Quote of the Decade, if it goes the way I expect
I would much prefer to think that all of this is a matter of his life being in turmoil throughout this decade, rather than Larry Summers being right about anything.
Scott McLemee on Cornell West, with a hat tip to Henry at CT.)
West has done a lot less damage and he is never boring.
“Never” covers more territory than I’m willing to allow. Even antics have to be well executed to be entertaining. I suppose “tedious” and “boring” don’t overlap altogether, but that man is tedious a very large part of the time.
So West is kinda fraud and Summers is kinda an ass. Any surprises there? Not for me.
