Selling Technology

My mother was talking to one of her cousins – a nice guy in his 50s who works for one of the big aerospace companies. He noted that not long ago, he was working on some technology that is considered so sensitive that he was not allowed (and is not allowed) to work on it offsite. His company is now selling that technology, with the permission of our government, to China. He is pretty disgusted about it.

(Another small comment for those who live in that world… I wasn’t a party to that conversation, but I got the impression during another conversation I had with him a few years ago, that the project he was working on was the sort of thing that would have been funded either by a certain TLA based in Chantilly or another former TLA in Lackland. Just a guess, mind you.)
