One Salient Oversight looks at this Hillary statement:
I think it’s imperative that we approach this mortgage crisis with the seriousness that it is presenting. There are 95,000 homes in foreclosure in California right now. I want a moratorium on foreclosures for 90 days so we can try to work out keeping people in their homes instead of having them lose their homes, and I want to freeze interest rates for five years.
He concludes she lacks a basic understanding of economics and therefore is unfit to be President. And it does seem to me that this is a basic failing, and while perhaps it should be enough to preclude one from being president, it isn’t when one can come up with similarly, um, offbeat statements by rivals (both within the Party and from the other Party).
