Fly the Friendly (?) Skies
My elderly mother flew to Kansas in November to spend some time with my brother.
She flew back the day after her birthday, so her Ohio driver’s license was expired by 1 day.
An eagle-eyed employee of TSA spotted her faulty ID, she was pulled out of line and given the “maybe she is a terrorist treatment.”
My mother does have an extensive criminal record (well, a speeding ticket in 1958 anyway). She looks pretty dangerous, well, only when she has her crochet hooks.
According to the TSA Inspector General, if she been carrying bomb parts they would have probably left her alone.
Do any of you feel safer, knowing that old ladies are being rousted?
