Halliburton and Contracts

There’s an assumption that American companies will be more loyal to the United States than, say, foreign companies. Thus, the American public is more comfortable if military contracts are given to American companies. But what if the American companies are not particularly loyal?

Here’s a story on Halliburton:

Halliburton Co., the energy services giant and controversial defense contractor, said Sunday that it was moving its corporate headquarters from Houston to United Arab Emirates in the Middle East.

Does this mean its time to stop giving Halliburton no bid contracts?
