A Ping-Pong Game with American Lives – If This Isn’t Cause for Impeachment, What Is?

This morning, Chuck Hagel (R-NE) said this:

“I don’t think we’ve ever had a coherent strategy.

In fact, I would even challenge the administration today to show us the plan that the president talked about the other night. There is no plan.

I happen to know Pentagon planners were on their way to the Central Com over the weekend. They haven’t even team B’ed this plan.

And my dear friend Dick Lugar talks about coherence of strategy. There is no strategy. This is a ping-pong game with American lives.”

Now, what I wonder is – 3 years into a disastrous war, would a senator who says that the administration has never had a coherent strategy, that the administration has no plan for going forward (and lies about it), and plays ping-pong with the lives of our soldiers – would such a senator, could such a senator have any possible reason not to support or even champion the cause of impeaching the President of the United States? If this isn’t cause for impeachment, what is? What possibly can be?
