Mortgage Broker Association strategic default
I just can’t resist this story of moralizing and posturing for the cameras by MBA and matter of fact dailey business practice. Out loud, in the open, in your face…and no surprises, but are we really that disconnected from ourselves?

I really don’t know what to say. A brilliant piece that fully captures the paradox of wealth concentration, government capture by the wealthy, the insanity of our times.
The funniest part, so that I don’t cry, is that so many are suffering so that so few can have more. Wasn’t this way when the GI’s came home. They were not about to suck tit for the have mores. From that comradery sprung a Great Society that has systematically been undone. By the undeserved Wrongald Raygun and George Bush. By Bill Clinton and the Walmart connection. And the coupe de grace by the illiterate village idiot placed in power because of his wealthy family.
What a country. Vote often.
It’s “coup”, not “coupe”.
Jest sayin’…
I especially liked JS’s comment on the complexities of the “fine print” which have supposedly caused all the technical irregularities in processing mortgages–those *(&^#$%@! invented the fine print!
Of course this was the situation that lead to Shays rebellion (farm mortgages and debt in western Ma in 1785-6) It so scared the elite that the constitution was invented to protect them from the rabble. Recall that back then you had to be a man of property (unmortgaged) to vote.
